Pet Peeve Special Blog!

Introduction:I wonder why people bother to buy belts in the first place? They don’t even use those fancy strips of leather to hold up their pants. They might as well just not wear pants. I seriously wouldn't mind if they had like one inch down, but some people are testing my patience. I don’t think they know what they are doing. “Hey! You people who think you’re cool! Read this to find out what others think of you!”
Why: This really bothers me-- and others too -- not because I can see your underwear,(though that is partly why) but because they do it on purpose. Like it actually is cool. Well I’m here to tell this to your face. It is so not cool!
How: This is because I encounter many people doing this particular “style”. At least three times a week I spot people with sagging pants
Experience: Once, when I was in fifth grade, one particular person decided to sag their underwear with their pants. But the worse thing was that I had to sit behind that person through a whole assembly. I managed to concentrate on the assembly but still, why would they do such a thing?
Closing: I  wonder when the world will get some more sense? Well, I hope it is soon, because if I see one more person sag their pants, I’m going to go nuts!

Old Gaming systems

People nowadays have either a wii, a ps3, or an xbox. But some people have a little less impressive stuff. Like the Super Nintendo for instance. It is a lot bigger, less technological, and very old. But the thing with technology is that every time you get something, a new one comes out. So you keep on buying the latest systems, phones, and technology.
Back in the old days around 1800's, if you offered them a game boy they would be very impressed at the device. If you offered someone a game boy today, you would most likely be called an "old geezer" for being so out of date. This tells us that as time goes on, we value our old items less and less.Well, I hope this helped you!

Rabbits

Rabbits are herbivores that feed by grazing on grass, forbs, and leafy weeds. In consequence, their diet contains large amounts of cellulose, which is hard to digest. Rabbits solve this problem by passing two distinct types of feces: hard droppings and soft black viscous pellets, the latter of which are immediately eaten. Rabbits re ingest their own droppings (rather than chewing the cud as do cows and many other herbivores) to digest their food further and extract sufficient nutrients.
Rabbits graze heavily and rapidly for roughly the first half hour of a grazing period (usually in the late afternoon), followed by about half an hour of more selective feeding. In this time, the rabbit will also excrete many hard fecal pellets, being waste pellets that will not be re ingested. If the environment is relatively non-threatening, the rabbit will remain outdoors for many hours, grazing at intervals. While out of the burrow, the rabbit will occasionally re ingest its soft, partially digested pellets; this is rarely observed, since the pellets are reingested as they are produced. Reingestion is most common within the burrow between 8 o'clock in the morning and 5 o'clock in the evening, being carried out intermittently within that period.
Hard pellets are made up of hay-like fragments of plant cuticle and stalk, being the final waste product after re digestion of soft pellets. These are only released outside the burrow and are not reingested. Soft pellets are usually produced several hours after grazing, after the hard pellets have all been excreted. They are made up of micro-organisms and undigested plant cell walls.
The chewed plant material collects in the large cecum, a secondary chamber between the large and small intestine containing large quantities of symbiotic bacteria that help with the digestion of cellulose and also produce certain B vitamins. The pellets are about 56% bacteria by dry weight, largely accounting for the pellets being 24.4% protein on average. These pellets remain intact for up to six hours in the stomach; the bacteria within continue to digest the plant carbohydrates. The soft feces form here and contain up to five times the vitamins of hard feces. After being excreted, they are eaten whole by the rabbit and redigested in a special part of the stomach. This double-digestion process enables rabbits to use nutrients that they may have missed during the first passage through the gut, as well as the nutrients formed by the microbial activity and thus ensures that maximum nutrition is derived from the food they eat. This process serves the same purpose within the rabbit as rumination does in cattle and sheep.
Rabbits are incapable of vomiting.

Siberian White Tigers

The existence of white Siberian tigers has not been scientifically proved, despite occasional unsubstantiated reports of sightings of white tigers in the regions where wild Siberian tigers live. Some believe that that the gene for white coating does not exist in the Siberian tiger population as no white Siberian tigers have been born in captivity despite the fact that the Siberian tiger has been extensively bred during the last few decades.
The famous white Siberian tigers found in captivity are actually not pure Siberian tigers. They are instead the result of Siberian tigers breeding with Bengal tigers. The gene for white coating is quite common among Bengal tigers, but the natural birth of a white Bengal tiger is still a very rare occasion in the wild, where white tigers are not bred selectively. A white tiger is caused by the occurrence of a double recessive allele in the genome. Estimations show that around one in 10,000 wild tiger births will result in a white tiger.
The white tiger is not considered a tiger subspecies, but rather a mutant variant of the existing tiger subspecies. If a pure white Siberian tiger were to be born, it would therefore not be selectively bred within the tiger conservation programs. It would, however, probably still be selectively bred outside the program in an effort to create more white Siberian tigers. Due to the popularity of white tigers, they are used to attract visitors to zoos.

Animals

Beavers are known for their natural trait of building dams on rivers and streams, and building their homes (known as "lodges") in the resulting pond. Beavers also build canals to float build materials that are difficult to haul over land.[2] They use powerful front teeth to cut trees and other plants that they use both for building and for food. In the absence of existing ponds, beavers must use branches. They fill in the gaps between the branches with a combination of weeds and mud until the dam impounds sufficient water to surround the lodge.
Beavers must construct dams before building their lodges. First they place poles in the ground, then fill between the poles with a crisscross of horizontally placed branches to stop the flow of water.

The beaver is the second largest rodent in the world.
They are known for their alarm signal: when startled or frightened, a swimming beaver will rapidly dive while slapping the water with its broad tail that can be heard over great distances above and below water. This serves as a warning to beavers in the area. Once a beaver has sounded the alarm, nearby beavers will dive and may not reemerge for some time. Beavers are slow on land, but are good swimmers, and can stay under water for as long as 15 minutes.
Beavers are herbivores, and prefer the wood of quaking aspencottonwoodwillow, alderbirchmaple and cherry trees. They also eat sedges, pondweed, and water lilies.[3]
Beavers do not hibernate, but store sticks and logs in a pile in their ponds, eating the underbark. Some of the pile is generally above water and accumulates snow in the winter. This insulation of snow often keeps the water from freezing in and around the food pile, providing a location where beavers can breathe when outside their lodge.

Books

There are lots of books on Earth. There are tons of genres that people like.I liked to read books ever since I was young.I read picture books, chapter books, novels, and lots of other books. To me,they are my entertainment.
My favorite book is the Harry Potter series.Since my favorite genre is fantasy,Harry Potter is a good book for me.There are lots of other Harry Potter fans out there.I guess we all like the adventure in the series.Lots of people like the movie better than the book, but I disagree.I think that people should watch the movie first and then read the book. The reason is because when we read,we visualize the characters and events. And then we get all disappointed because it is different than we imagine. So that's it!
